QiH Group has announced the appointment of Simon Winder as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with the former Spotlight Sports Group (SSG) executive set to contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion.

Winder departs SSG after seven years, bringing with him a decade of experience in the gambling and sports industries. QiH is optimistic that his expertise will drive the affiliate organization’s next phase of growth. In his new role, Winder will oversee all financial operations at QiH and develop long-term financial strategies to support the company’s future expansion plans.

This appointment follows a series of strategic hires within QiH’s UK team last November and marks the completion of its C-level executive recruitment phase, which has also seen the addition of a new CMO, CTO, and COO.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Winder said: “After a wonderful and rewarding seven years with SSG, it’s great to be moving to a young company with the reputation for innovation, growth, and compliance that QiH Group has. Having watched the affiliate’s progress from the outside these past four years, it will be extremely fulfilling to be part of the action!”

QiH Group’s CEO and Co-Founder, Jamie Walters, shared his excitement about Winder’s appointment: “We’ve made no secret of the fact that our business is growing fast. FY2023 delivered 75% growth in both revenue and profit, and 2024 is on track to achieve the same again.

“Simon is an integral part of the formula we need to support this growth and to help take QiH Group into the next phase of our business. Massive thanks to our incredible HR Director, Andrea Talreja, for her incisive and insightful executive search that has brought us the C-level support needed to forge ahead.”
